A Day at the Zoo!

On Friday we decided to venture to the Virginia Zoo with some friends of ours who have a little boy the same age as Jack. We all had a great time but it was cold!! Jackson and Andrew really had a great time looking at all the animals. We ended our day on the train ride through the park.

What a difference a Year Makes!

I was going through my pictures and just had to share these! What a difference a year makes! The picture with the red background was Jack's 2nd year checkup at Dr. Cicero's office. The picture with the blue background was exactly one year before! You can see how much Jack has changed--He surely didn't know what was in store for him at the doctor's office in the one year picture!

SNOW DAY!!

Jack is 22 months old!!

Just wanted to share some pics of Jack. He is now 22 months and is doing so much now! His vocabulary is getting bigger--I think it would awesome if he would get rid of it! We decided that he will give it to Santa this year--we hope:) I was taking some pictures in front of the tree and wanted to share.

Happy Halloween!

We had such a good night---not at first though! When it was time to get Jack ready for trick 0r treating he had not had much of a nap. He cried the ENTIRE time we dressed him. Jack was Elvis!! Larry even sprayed black hair spray on his hair so he would have the real "Elvis" look! After we left home and headed for Newsoms, Jack was getting excited--and so were we! After trick or treating, we headed to the church for it's annual party. Jack and his friend Andrew tied for the Most Original! We were so excited!

It's Potty Time!!

I had to post this of Jack the other day. He went to where his potty was and was trying to potty--even though nothing came out!

Pumpkin Pickin!

Today Jack went to Turtle Creek Farm, owned by Jenny and Blair Bunn. He and his friends from daycare had a blast! They all checked out the animals on the farm and Jack even had his picture on Valentine the Cow! He then went on a hayride and then everyone enjoyed a picnic lunch. At the end the children all went through a grass maze where they had to find stickers that then led them to the pumpkin patch! Jack found the Great Pumpkin!!

My very special friend painted this picture of Jackson. She used a picture that I took at the doctor's office and she added his curls and a t-shirt. She did an outstanding job!! Thanks Jane!

Having Fun in the Summertime!

We just got back from a weekend trip to the Eastern Shore. Larry, Jack and myself joined my parents and my grandmother (aka "Big Granny). We really did enjoy ourselves, even though it was a quick trip. We were also glad to get out to the beach to see if Jack would like it--and he did! I was so glad that my grandma was able to go and be with us!

Happy 4th of July!

We had such a great day! Newsoms had it's annual parade and I knew Jackson would love it! He just loves tractors and there were plenty! Gampa and Mamaw came to check out the festivities and then we grilled out! Later we walked Jackson to the ball field where they were playing ball! What a great place to live!
